By continuously cleaning and circulating the water, the system keeps the pool looking pristine with minimal intervention.
Engineered for reactive clay soils
The site is located on reactive clay soils, requiring the installation of a sump drainage system to manage groundwater and reduce hydrostatic pressure beneath the pool. This important structural detail helps protect the installation while providing long-term peace of mind. The pool was installed fully in-ground, allowing the surrounding paving to meet the waterline seamlessly and creating the crisp, level finish that defines the completed outdoor space.
Delivered in time for Christmas
Construction progressed smoothly thanks to excellent site access, although periods of wet weather created pressure on the construction schedule. With the homeowners eager to have the pool ready for Christmas, the Compass Pools team carefully coordinated trades, monitored weather windows and maintained close communication throughout the build. The pool was completed in time for the festive season, allowing the grandchildren to enjoy their very first summer creating memories in what would quickly become the family's favourite place to gather.
