Had our Compass pool with in-floor cleaning installed 3 years ago. Could not fault the installation, after sales care and service. The Paramount in-floor cleaning system is amazing and handles leaf litter like magic. Recently had an issue with the module and the local office were so awesome to deal with. Very happy customer!

Pools in Branxton — your questions answered
What does a pool cost to run in Branxton’s climate?
The big running costs are pump electricity, sanitiser and any heating. A variable-speed pump and a cover cut all three noticeably, and solar heating is cheap to run once installed.
Do you really install pools as far out as Branxton?
Yes. Branxton is roughly 55km from our Tomago display centre, and we schedule site visits and installs out here regularly. Shells come from the Compass factory right next door to us, so there’s no long-haul freight leg on top.
Our Branxton lot is in a new release area — does that make approval simpler?
Often. Newer lots frequently meet complying development standards, which can be quicker than a DA — unless bushfire or flood mapping applies, which can rule that pathway out.
Is delivery a problem on a long or unsealed driveway?
Shells arrive on a truck and are craned into place, so what matters is whether a truck and crane can reach a suitable set-up spot — including in wet weather. We walk the access route at the site visit and plan the delivery day around it.
Who looks after the pool fence?
We can supply and install a compliant barrier as part of the project. Ongoing compliance is the owner’s responsibility — our certifier explains the NSW barrier rules.
Which council approves a pool in Branxton?
Cessnock City Council is the consent authority for a Development Application, or a registered certifier can issue a Complying Development Certificate where the site qualifies. The area’s coal-mining history means some properties fall within a Mine Subsidence District, and rural-zoned lots have their own setback rules — both are checked before design.
