Had our Compass pool with in-floor cleaning installed 3 years ago. Could not fault the installation, after sales care and service. The Paramount in-floor cleaning system is amazing and handles leaf litter like magic. Recently had an issue with the module and the local office were so awesome to deal with. Very happy customer!

We run guest accommodation in Pokolbin — what pool rules apply?
Pools at tourist and visitor accommodation must be inspected by council for barrier compliance on a regular cycle, and appropriate signage is required. Plan the barrier for guest use from day one — see the NSW pool barrier rules.
What’s the best way to heat a pool here?
It depends on how you’ll use it. Solar suits extending the season cheaply, heat pumps give reliable warmth, and gas heats fastest. Our heating guide compares all three.
How do you fill a pool if we’re not on town water?
The first fill is normally delivered by a water-carting tanker, which avoids draining your tanks. After that, top-ups can come from rainwater tanks or a bore if the water quality suits — we’ll test it and set up the sanitiser accordingly.
How do you handle service and warranty in Pokolbin?
We stay your point of contact after handover. Many questions can be sorted by phone with a photo or a water-test result, and when a visit is needed we book it in with our regular runs to the area.
Which council approves a pool in Pokolbin?
Cessnock City Council is the consent authority for a Development Application, or a registered certifier can issue a Complying Development Certificate where the site qualifies. The area’s coal-mining history means some properties fall within a Mine Subsidence District, and rural-zoned lots have their own setback rules — both are checked before design.
