What’s the difference between a spa and a wader?
A spa is a warm, jetted body of water for relaxing hydrotherapy — choose the X-Trainer or the larger X-Trainer XL. A wader is a shallow lounging zone, perfect for relaxing in the sun or for children to play safely, and it’s also the secret behind a striking infinity-edge look.
Can I join the spa to my pool, or keep it separate?
Either. You can treat your spa or wader as a separate body of water, or order a customised design that joins the two together as one flowing space — often with a raised spa and a spillway that flows into the pool.
What size are the spas, waders and pods?
The X-Trainer Spa is 2.8m × 1.8m and the X-Trainer XL Spa is 3.4m × 1.8m (both 1.1m deep). The 3.1 Wader is 3.06m × 1.96m at around 30cm deep. The Immersion Therapy Pod is a two-person pod around 2.1m × 1.35m. Dimensions are approximate and may vary by configuration — we’ll confirm exact specifications at your site inspection.
Are the spas fibreglass or acrylic?
Our spas and waders are fibreglass, not acrylic — so they can handle sunlight and the outdoors for years without the damage acrylic spas can suffer, and they carry the same colour and warranty benefits as a Compass pool.
Can I match the spa colour to my pool?
