Had our Compass pool with in-floor cleaning installed 3 years ago. Could not fault the installation, after sales care and service. The Paramount in-floor cleaning system is amazing and handles leaf litter like magic. Recently had an issue with the module and the local office were so awesome to deal with. Very happy customer!

Can we build a pool on a Toronto waterfront property?
Usually, though foreshore controls and flood planning levels often apply on lakefront lots, which generally means a Development Application. A raised pool edge can also make the most of the lake view.
Does a high water table near the coast affect a pool?
It can. Groundwater close to the surface pushes up on an empty pool, so coastal installs often need the excavation dewatered and the pool should never be drained without advice. Every Compass shell includes HydroPro™ hydrostatic protection. Here’s why pools can lift out of wet ground.
What’s the best way to heat a pool here?
It depends on how you’ll use it. Solar suits extending the season cheaply, heat pumps give reliable warmth, and gas heats fastest. Our heating guide compares all three.
Do you cover the western side of the lake around Toronto?
Yes — Toronto is around 32km from our Tomago base and part of our regular service area for site visits, installation and after-sales support.
Which council approves a pool in Toronto?
Lake Macquarie City Council handles Development Applications; eligible projects can instead go through a Complying Development Certificate. Around the lake, foreshore lots may be affected by flood planning levels, and parts of the city sit within a declared Mine Subsidence District, where Subsidence Advisory NSW may also need to approve the design.
