Fibreglass pools in Newcastle — what people ask us.
How much does a fibreglass pool cost in Newcastle?
Every backyard is different, so the final price depends on pool size and shape, site access, and the surrounds you choose. A professionally installed Compass fibreglass pool is generally more cost-effective than a comparable concrete pool and much faster to install. We provide a free, fixed quote after a site visit so you know exactly where you stand.
Are fibreglass pools better than concrete for Hunter conditions?
For most Newcastle and Hunter blocks — yes. Fibreglass installs in a fraction of the time, has a smooth non-abrasive surface, uses fewer chemicals, and resists cracking thanks to the Compass Ceramic Core. It also handles Hunter clay soils well when engineered correctly.
How long does a fibreglass pool take to install?
Once your Council approval is in place, the pool shell is craned in and set within a day. Full installation — excavation, plumbing, coping and surrounds — typically completes in a few weeks. Far faster than a concrete pool, which can take months.

What warranty comes with a Compass pool?
Every Compass pool carries a triple warranty — structural, cosmetic and hydrostatic. Bi-Luminite pools include a lifetime structural warranty and 10-year cosmetic warranty; Vivid pools carry a 25-year structural warranty. All are backed by Compass Pools Australia and are transferable to new owners.
Do your pools actually clean themselves?
With the optional Vantage in-floor cleaning system, yes — pool water circulates, debris is swept to the drain, and chemicals distribute automatically. That means less manual cleaning, lower running costs, and no robotic cleaner needed.
Can I get finance for a Compass pool?
